Privacy policy

Betable Limited decides how personal information is used on IvyBet, which makes it the data controller. We hold what running your account, meeting our licence and protecting you actually require.
Information we hold
- About you: name, date of birth, home address, email and mobile number.
- Checks: the outcome of electronic age and identity checks, plus copies of documents if we had to ask for them.
- Activity: deposits, withdrawals, bets, casino rounds and the limits you've chosen.
- Device: IP address, browser and device type, and the cookies described in our cookie policy.
What it's used for
Running the account and the cashier, confirming who you are and how old you are, stopping fraud and money laundering, noticing when play may be becoming harmful, applying the safer gambling settings you pick and, if you've opted in, telling you about offers. Marketing permissions can be switched off at any time from your account.
Who we pass it to
Payment firms, the identity and credit reference agencies that carry out our checks, game suppliers (who see a player number and round data only), the Gambling Commission, GamStop, and the police or courts when the law says we must. Your data is never sold.
Retention
Anti-money-laundering law makes us keep account and payment records for a minimum of five years after an account closes. Records of a self-exclusion are kept for as long as the exclusion has to be honoured.
Your rights
UK GDPR lets you see what we hold, have mistakes fixed, limit or object to how it's used, ask for deletion where we aren't obliged to keep it, and take a copy with you. Write to our data protection team; replies go out within a month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, the Information Commissioner's Office takes complaints.
Keeping it safe
Every connection to IvyBet is encrypted. Documents sit in systems only authorised staff can open, and each time someone opens them it's recorded. Our payment partners handle full card numbers; we never keep them.
